Hi everyone,
I am taking part in the London to Paris cycle ride in June for The Everyman campaign. My partner passed away 15 months ago after a series of complications and infections from stage III TC. He was only 29. I am hoping to raise £1300 (and more if possible!) but need some help and/or advice. I think I would like to organise some sort of charity auction, but don't really know where to start with regards to finding a venue or getting companies in and around Oxford to donate something that can be auctioned off. In the past I have been somewhat suprised by the lacklustre response to be involved, and I would just like some tips or better yet if anyone knows who I can contact who might help me achieve this goal. I plan to have a stand there to provide further details of the signs and symptoms, and maybe invite other charities I am involved with to take part, like Darren Couchman from The Testicle Tour or Phil Morris from checkemlads.
Many thanks,
Anna
