Hi Jennifer

I would suggest the following:

Definitely ask yoour husband to make an appointment to see his GP whilst it doesn't automatically mean that he has cancer he needs to see the gp for an examination and maybe a blood test and probably have an ultrasound. Your GP may organise this independently or send him to see a Urologist at your local hospital (depending on what he thinks following the examination).

It really depends on where the lump is whether it is in the body of the testis or the epididymis as there can be a number of other causes of teticular lumps and it isn't necessarily cancer.  He certainly needs to take it seriously and get it checked out. I think it is best for peace of mind for you both. Often a lump is the only sign and you don't need to have all the other symptoms.  The important thing is that if he has found a lump he really needs to get it checked out.

I hope this is helpful

Please ask if you have any further queries

Best wishes

Gemma
